BIC has established a cross-industry Focus Group to horizon-scan for policy and regulatory impacting the book industry supply chain, helping its members to anticipate, prepare, and respond effectively to requirements.
This group brings together relevant expertise from across the BIC membership and will horizon-scan the following areas with regards to both digital and physical supply chains:
- Environment & Sustainability
- Technology, Product Information & Data (includes for example, product safety)
- Trade & Logistics
- Other areas pertaining to the book industry supply chain as deemed appropriate by the Focus Group

The Focus Group has met monthly during its set up phase and will continue to meet quarterly.
